Molded wax casts like these are used to create our rugged Jett aluminum crankcases.

Here you see high precision CNC machinery manufacturing cylinder heads for our Sport-Jett Engines. Jett's state of the art CNC machines and strict processes insure that every part is cut to our precise requirements every time. Every piece from the pistons and liners, to the crankcase, to the backplate are all machined to our demanding quality standards.

Quality Breeds Performance

After being manufactured, EVERY piece is inspected to insure all dimensions are accurate within our demanding tolerances, and that it meets our high quality standards. Here you see carburetor bodies and head buttons undergoing inspection before being sent on to assembly.

When it comes to assembly, high tech CNC machines take a back seat. Every Jett engine is hand assembled and hand fitted. Every piston and liner set is custom fit to provide optimum performance and reliability. Nothing is left to chance as with many mass produced engines.

During assembly, all critical dimensions are checked and double checked. Liner height, head clearance and compression ratio are set to standards established through hundreds of hours of testing. These factory setting provide you with the absolute best performance, engine life and reliability you demand. Here you see a piston and liner set being checked for deck height. Shims will be used under the head button to insure the perfect compression ratio.

Before any engine leaves our facility and is shipped to a customer, it is test run! Yes, you read correctly! At this time we adjust the carburetor for reliable low speed and idle performance.
